Diamond in the Rough is about the hardworking people in this world. Those who not only withstand but embrace the struggle. Those who strive for something bigger than just themselves. Those who work double shifts and still have enough time somehow. People who believe in themselves regardless of how much everyone will discredit your dreams. These songs were recorded in my basement while living in St Paul MN. Me and my comrades at OFF-10 recorded over 50 songs over the course of 4 months. I recorded and produced all of those tracks and rap on a few as well. While that was going on (as well as three jobs, a shitty relationship, internships, etc) I recorded Diamond in the Rough. These songs are really just "me time". The few nights I was alone in the basement I always ended up recording. After I moved out of that wonderful house (basement) I decided to put them together as a project. I truly hope you enjoy
